Geeksphone Revolution Runs on Android and Firefox OS
BARCELONA, Spain – Geeksphone has announced a new smartphone, the Geeksphone Revolution, which runs on two operating systems from Google and Mozilla.
The phone features MultiOS technology which allows a user to switch between Android and Firefox OS without any notable effort.
Coming to the specs sheet, the smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen and allows connectivity through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, HSPA and microUSB. It features a dual-core Intel Atom processor Z2260 clocked at 1.6GHz. For the memory, there is 1 GB LPDDR2 RAM, and 4GB storage space aboard with microSD slot for expansion up to 32GB. The camera is an 8MP unit with LED flash.
Although Geeksphone Revolution has introduced a new feature, it is yet to be seen how phone works in real life. For now, it costs about 300 USD or 221 EUR excluding taxes. Presently no accessories are offered with it, but they will be added in future.
