Verizon renames LG L70 to LG Optimus Exceed 2
BASKING RIDGE, USA – Only about ten days ago MetroPCS announced the availability of LG L70 on its network, now we learn that the phone is coming to Verizon with the name of LG Optimus Exceed 2.
LG Optimus Exceed 2 shares most of it features with the LG L70 sold across the globe, however, it does cut out a few of the specs. Nevertheless, the handset making its way to Big Red carrier can be purchased on contract for $79.99 and will support 3G network.
The highlight of the device is the OS, the LG L70/Optimus Exceed 2 runs on Android 4.4 Kit Kat which is pretty unusual for low-end device right now, yet users should not expect that updates to be rolled out in future.
Talking about specs, the LG Optimus Exceed 2 features a 4.5-inch touchscreen, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8610 processor, 5MP rear-camera with LED flash, front-facing VGA camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 2100mAh battery.
