LAS VEGAS, USA – Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has announced the ZTE Grand S II and showcased the ZTE Nubia 5S, ZTE Nubia 5S Mini and ZTE Iconic Phablet at the Consumer Electronics Show.

ZTE Grand S II

The ZTE Grand S II features voice control technology with which users can unlock their phones, as well as control other components of the handset. In addition to this, ZTE has come up with other smartphones that include two new Nubia smartphones – the ZTE Nubia 5S and the ZTE Nubia 5S Mini, which have a quad-core Snapdragon processor – and the Iconic phablet that comes with specs including a 5.7″ touchscreen, wireless charging, a dual-core processor and a Gorilla Glass touchscreen.

The ZTE Grand S II (above) has a 5.5″ full HD touchscreen, a 2.3GHz quad-core CPU, a 13 megapixel camera, 16GB storage, and a hefty 3000 mAh battery.

The ZTE Nubia 5S brings to the market a 5″ full HD display, the same 2.3GHz quad-core CPU as on the Grand S II, a 13 megapixel camera, 2GB RAM, 4K video recording, Bluetooth and NFC. The ZTE Nubia 5S Mini on the other hand, has a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU, a 4.7″ touchscreen, and surprisingly a 5 megapixel front-camera.

The ZTE Iconia Phablet, the biggest of them all, has a 5.7″ HD touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera, a 3200mAh battery, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth and NFC, and just 8GB internal storage. Overall a weak package in comparison to industry leaders, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
