MWC: Nokia Announces Wireless Car Charger, Nokia 301

Mobile World Congress, BARCELONA – Nokia announced the CR200 wireless car charger, the Nokia 301, and  was proud to have its Asha 305 awarded for the best feature-phone in the market.

The Nokia Asha 305 got the better of other competing models, which also largely comprised of Nokia feature phones.

The Finnish giant introduced a new feature phone, the Nokia 301, a simple bar-shaped feature-phone with an alphanumeric keypad, that has a dual-SIM variant. This phone comes with a 2.4-inch display screen with QVGA resolution.

Some of the key features of the handset include a 3.2 MP camera, expandable storage through a microSD card, Bluetooth, and 3G connectivity support. The Nokia 301 also comes with a battery that can last up to 37 days without recharging on the single SIM version on GSM networks.

Nokia introduced a new wireless charging accessory that can be used in a car – the Nokia CR200  – and supports NFC. Being a holder, it allows users to charge their handsets easily while driving to their desired location.
