Dejero Live+ iPhone appLONDON, England – The Dejero Live+ iPhone App seems to be receiving widespread attention after it was used for a live BBC TV broadcast last month.

An interview at a bowling club was transmitted through Dejero Live+, as satellite trucks couldn’t be sent to the spot, owing to solid rain in north-east England. Although there was a three-second delay and the quality was nowhere near satellite broadcast, Dejero proved to be much better than many other live streaming apps. Currently Dejero Live+ is on trial at BBC, along with other similar apps.

Dejero Live+ utilizes the same technology as Dejero’s Live+ 20/20 transmitter, namely the transmission of HD or SD live video over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or cellular networks. Being a simple and less expensive alternative for microwave and satellite transmission, it can also handle different file types, including photos and video clips. Use of the app requires an iPad or iPhone 4S, along with a Dejero Live+ Broadcast Server.
