The original Samsung projector phone failed to catch on due to its size and weight but this has now been rectified with the release of the Samsung Galaxy Beam, which is the world’s thinnest projector phone at a thickness of just 12.5mm. The projector on this new handset is capable of projecting images or documents like those from PowerPoint at 15-lumens to an equivalent screen size of 50 inches at a resolution of 640 x 360 which is near HD quality.

Every effort has been made to ensure that Samsung has not made the same mistake with its new projector phone as it has produced 500 of the new Galaxy Beam purely for trial purposes.
