MWC: Galaxy Tab 2, Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 Showcased by Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1BARCELONA, Spain – A selection of new devices has recently been announced by Samsung at the Mobile World Congress including the new Galaxy Tab 2 tablet range, the GALAXY Note 10.1 and the new Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 smartphone.

The announcement of the Galaxy Tab 2 tablets will see two new devices made available, which are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) with each of these devices offered with either 3G or WiFi capabilities. The key difference between the two devices is their screens with the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) coming with a 7 inch WSVGA display and a resolution of 1024 x 600 whilst The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) comes with a 10.1 inch WXGA screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 has been introduced into the Samsung range to offer users more in the way of learning, creativity and productivity with a range of new features including the ability to view apps side by side, the S Note tool that allows users to create storyboards containing images, content and other media and a number of other tools.

The final device to be announced is the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.2, which was pitched as its gaming smartphone and comes with a number of features and facilities that have been designed to improve the whole gaming experience. Included in these features is a gyroscope sensor that allows movement of the handset to control games and apps and the SoundAlive audio system that provides improved sound either using headphones or through the front stereo speaker.
