Nokia Lumia 800 South Africa release date

The Lumia 800 is the first Nokia smartphone with Windows Phone operating system instead of the older Symbian OS, Maemo or Meego. It is a part of the strategic turn in the corporate policy of Nokia, which finally decided to turn to outsourced operating systems for their smartphones. The Lumia 800 is packed with an 8 MP camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.7 inches 480 x 800 pixels AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.

By the end of 2011 the Lumia 800 was rumored to hit the 1 million orders worldwide, so its release in the beginning of February is just on time for its many fans in South Africa.
