Sony Xperia S Wins Stuff Magazine’s Hot Stuff Award

Sony Xperia S Stuff AwardsLAS VEGAS, USA – Friday the 13th of January 2012 was not at all unlucky for the new Sony Xperia S smartphone, as it was one of the winners of the Hot Stuff awards by Stuff magazine.

These awards are given to the most interesting, modern and “hot” products shown at CES 2012 by the joined teams of the editors of the British printed Stuff magazine and their web portal.  The awards were given to only ten new and hot products at CES 2012.

The Sony Xperia S is the first of the new family Xperia NXT with Android 2.3 and option to be upgraded later to version 4.0. The smartphone is quite impressive in terms of features, since it has a screen with busting 4.3-inch HD resolution (1280×760 pixels), dual-core processor at 1,5 GHz, and a camera that offers impressive 12 megapixels. Moreover, it supports NFC technology for mobile payments.

At CES 2012, the  Xperia S was also the runner-up for the People’s Voice Award and nominated for CNET’s Best Awards.
