Nokia Lumia 900, 710 Release Dates Confirmed, N9 Gets Update

Nokia 900 Lumia release date emailESPOO, Finland – In the world of Nokia, the Lumia 900 and Lumia 710 have received a release date, and the Nokia N9‘s firmware update has leaked in the form of screenshots.

In recent email newsletter Nokia and AT&T confirmed that the Nokia Lumia 900 with LTE support is to become available for the network in March.  The handset is the first Windows Phone device to support LTE and it was largely anticipated. Its design is close to Nokia N9 and  Lumia 800, but with a 4.3″ AMOLED Clear Black touchscreen, 1.4GHz CPU, 8 megapixel camera with wide-screen optics, video conversation camera and durable 1830 mAh battery.

The last expected release from Nokia is the PR1.2 firmware for the N9’s Meego platform. It is rumored to be available by the end of January, but there is no official confirmation about this. The expected features of this update are video calling using the front-facing camera, copy and paste support in the browser and app folders on the home-screen.
