Apple vs Samsung lawsuit patent designCANBERRA, Australia – The patent battle is getting hotter by the moment, with Samsung, who has now counter-sued Apple in Australia. Samsung claims that Apple’s iPhone and iPad 2 violate its patents.

In the report, Samsung details how the iPhone and iPad 2 violate wireless patents held by Samsung. Nam Ki-yung, Spokesman for Samsung said, “To defend our intellectual property, Samsung filed a cross claim for Apple’s violation of Samsung’s wireless technology patents”.

This new Apple vs Samsung lawsuit comes in answer to the ban imposed on Samsung to sell its Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy 10.1 in the Australian market. Incidentally, Samsung came up with its counter-attack just days before the actual decision regarding, whether the ban imposed on the sales of Galaxy Tab in Australia can be lifted.
