Samsung i9100 Galaxy S II review hands-onGLOBAL – An insider who posted on the 4chan board information regarding the  Samsung Nexus Prime, has now leaked details about the Samsung Galaxy S III.

The user revealed that the device will bemaking an appearance somewhere in the year 2012, and also claims that the handset is already in R&D stage at the moment. The question that hammers us is “how can the Galaxy S III better out the already powerful Samsung Galaxy S II?”

The user reports that the upcoming Galaxy S III will be housing a monsterous Exynos 2.0GHz quad-core CPU under-the-hood and this really screams power. The handset will be completed with a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED III display, a new variant of display under-the-making by Samsung. The display actually takes up the resolution to 1280×1024 and raiding the total ppi (pixels-per-inch) to 352 making it the highest ppi smartphone in the world.

The device is packed-in with a 2250mAh battery to provide a quad-core beat with the juice it would require throughout the day, also rumored is a 10-megapixel camera with support for Full HD recording at 1080p. The user said that there was no demo phone available owing to the display of the Galaxy S III still being in production stages.

Coming along with all this will be Samsung’s TouchWiz 5 UI, although it increases in version number, the TouchWiz will not infiltrate the Android zone and will work closer with the entire Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich version. This has been done so for Samsung to be able to roll-out updated to the Android OS much sooner, rather than developing the entire TouchWiz again with the update for the Samsung Galaxy S II.
