Samsung Galaxy S II Gets Benchmarked

Samsung Galaxy S II Quadrant benchmarkGLOBAL – If the benchmarks are to be trusted then the Samsung Galaxy S II might be the most powerful smartphone available in the market for a while.

The Samsung Galaxy S II is powered by its homegrown Exynos processor. The processor clocks in at 1.2GHz in a dual-core configuration. This brings class beating performance and the smartphone easily crossed 3000 in the Quadrant scores. These preliminary scores show it beating its contemporary smartphones such as the Motorola Atrix and theĀ LG Optimus 2x.

What does need to be considered however is that a device like the Motorola Atrix has higher screen resolution than the Samsung Galaxy S II. The latter has the standard WVGA resolution while the Atrix has a higher resolution of qHD. This results in lower benchmark results for the Atrix.

Benchmarks aside, it is clear that the Samsung Galaxy S II is one of the fastest phones currently in the market and is a safe bet when considering your next smartphone.
