BlackBerry Touch Monza MonacoWATERLOO, Canada – BBNews had posted a video on YouTube demonstrating the BlackBerry Touch 9860, however, it was removed for violating the YouTube terms of service.

From what can be gleaned from other reports on line, it will look a bit like the Torch without the slider, with a chrome bezel for accent. The device was shown with BlackBerry OS 6.1, which is the precursor to the QNX based OS which is long awaited.

It does have an illuminated trackpad, a Bluetooth connection for the PlayBook to pair with, and the QWERTY touch screen. No front facing camera for this device, and a rearrangement of the convenience keys on the right side. The lower key has been moved between the volume keys. Expect a faster processor, 1.2GHz, and more memory 768 MB, and recording in HD video.

There were a lot of comments on the speed of the device, very fast loading web pages and reacting to user input. The consensus is that the Touch 9860 is a BlackBerry Storm 3 with OS 6.0, and PlayBook compatible. RIM has moved away from SurePress, so no clicking on the screen.
