Galaxy S Android 2.3 Gingerbread Rolling Out in Europe

Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.3 GingerbreadGLOBAL – The upgrade to Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the Samsung Galaxy S is now rolling out for certain European users.

The first Galaxy S customers to get the update are, as always, from Europe. Nordic countries, the Netherlands and Germany are the first markets that will get Android 2.3.3 via Samsung Kies. We would imagine that other markets are going to follow soon, so hang on to your hats and start waiting for the official update to be rolled out.

The first reports say the Gingerbread build is a much faster than its predecessor and that there are no issues, at least not until now, with the upgrade to Android 2.3.3.

This will be going out to Germany and the Netherlands, but we’re sure those in the UK, France, Spain, and the other parts of European countries out there won’t be left out for too long.
