Flash 10.2 for Android Leaked

Flash Android 10.2GLOBAL – It seems that Flash 10.2 for Android has leaked into the wild. Adobe’s program update is set to hit the Android market for general updating and downloading on March 18th, however, the APK file is already available to download from many sources across the internet.

Most Android users already have Flash installed, especially those using 2.2 Froyo. However, if you were a customer who wanted a Motorola Xoom on launch day, you were disappointed to find that the Xoom was Flash-less. Verizon and Motorola promised a quick resolve to the issue.

The Xoom comes preloaded with Android Honeycomb 3.0. Flash was not compatible to work with this version of the Android OS, as is the case with many Android apps right now. However, Google released the SDK for Honeycomb and application developers have quickly started pumping out  Android friendly apps.

The official update to make Flash Honeycomb-friendly is due out in less than a week. But if you cannot wait, a quick search will turn up the apk to download and add to your device. Be warned though, as is the case with any app not coming from the Android market, there are always risks involved. The official update is due out March 18th for Gingerbread 2.3, Froyo 2.2, and Honeycomb 3.0 devices.
