Sharp Alice Cyborg Tango BlinkNEW DELHI, India – Japanese electronics manufacturer Sharp has launched four new mobile phones in India, the Alice, Blink, Tango and Cyborg.

The company is betting in the style-price factors, considering that the low-end segment of the Indian market can be quite profitable. There are common components among the four handsets, with all four offering a motion sensor, an LED flash, Bluetooth connectivity, FM radio for multimedia purposes, Dual SIM capability and a camera.

The devices are quite original, with the Cyborg containing a unique design, with a 180-degree swivelling screen. The form factor of the Sharp Alice is full-touchscreen, while both Blink and Tango are clamshells.

There is little information available on these handsets, but it is confirmed that the Tango features a 5 megapixel camera, the Alice a 3.2 megapixel camera, and lastly the Blink a 2 megapixel camera.

Pricing is the key here, Sharp will attempt to keep the specifications as basic as possible in order to keep the phones affordable.
