Nokia N900 App review: Hermes

The sync concept emerged when internet-connected devices began to diversify, and the need of having the same contacts in every single device increased.

As this applied to the N900 as well, Andrew Flegg decided to create a solution. The smartphone integrates the phone’s contact book and other IM contact lists, such as Google Talk and Skype, as the device is the fusion between a mobile phone and an internet tablet.

Additional IM services such Facebook, Twitter, MSM, Gmail should also be integrated in one single contact – and that’s Hermes’ aim.

The app is promising and it is available freely at Maemo repositories.
