Oppo R1S Launches with 4G LTE, 7.1mm Body
DONGGUAN, China – Electronics manufacturer Oppo has launched the new 4G-LTE-enabled Oppo R1S.
The Oppo R1S is a successor to last year’s mid-ranger Oppo R1. With 4G LTE connectivity being turned on in China, the manufacturer is attempting to win customers with support for this technology.
The Oppo R1S is basically a Snapdragon version of Oppo R1, which hosted a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 chipset. According to GizChina, the device now offers a quad-core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 that is compatible with both Chinese and global 4G LTE frequencies.
The Oppo R1S comes with a topped-up 2GB RAM, and an upgraded 13MP rear camera, while other specs and design are almost similar to its previous model Oppo R1. The smartphone was launched on April 25th, Friday, in China.
